The shared whiteboard
Draw, write and explain together during a video interview, such as a demo lesson or a problem to solve.

Open the whiteboard
In a video interview, press Whiteboard. It opens for everyone and takes the main screen, with the cameras in a strip. Anyone can hide it on their own screen and bring it back with Show it.
Tools
- Select, move and resize; pen, highlighter and eraser.
- Line, arrow, rectangle and ellipse.
- Text, sticky notes, a laser pointer, and hand to pan.
- Add a picture by button, paste or drop.
- Colour, thickness, fill and text size; undo and redo your own changes (Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+Shift+Z); zoom with buttons, Ctrl+scroll or pinch.
- Pages: switching page moves everyone. Interviewers can add, rename or delete pages and change the background (plain, grid, dots, lined or graph).
Everyone's pointer shows with their name. Interviewers can let the candidate draw or stop them, lock the board, clear a page (undoable) or close it for everyone. Candidates can change only their own drawings.
Saving and recording
While it is open, the whiteboard is shown large on the recording. After the call it is kept on the interview page's Whiteboard tab, and pages can be downloaded as PNG. It is deleted with the recordings at the end of the retention period or on erasure.
Settings
Under Settings → Video interviews → Whiteboard (or per interview): whether it is on, who can open it, whether the candidate can draw (always, when allowed, or never), who can add pictures, the number of pages (up to 30), the background, pointers, candidate download, showing it on the recording, and keeping it after the call.
